They are back again: the so-called “anti-fascists” (Antifa) who were seen marching in London the other day praising communist leaders such as Joseph Stalin (Soviet Union), Che Guevara (Cuba) and Ho Chi Minh (Vietnam).
Even those these three violent dictators murdered countless millions of people, Antifa of London believes that they deserve praise and honor for being heroes in the fight against “fascism.”
Everyone in the London mob of anti-fascists was donning a red mask, shielding their true identities from view.
The left-wing protest was aimed against rising costs and runaway inflation, which is hitting the United Kingdom particularly hard as it grapples with sky-high natural gas prices and shortages – natural gas is needed to heat homes as well as produce fertilizer for growing food.
According to the Guardian, the red-masked marchers – red being a signal for communism, by the way – marched from Portland Place to Parliament Square. Their screams were aimed at the government’s lack of action against inflation bordering on hyperinflation, calling it a “crisis.”
“Cut war, not welfare,” read one of the signs held by an Antifa marcher.
“End fuel poverty, insulate homes now,” read another.
The only way to combat the “cost of living crisis,” according to Frances O’Grady, the general secretary of the British Trades Union Congress (TUC), is to increase worker wages.
“Prices are skyrocketing, yet boardroom bonuses are back to bumper levels,” O’Grady said, further noting that wages have remained stagnant in England for more than a decade.
“Everyone who works for a living deserves to earn a decent living, but UK workers are suffering the longest and harshest squeeze on their earnings in modern history.”
In a statement to PA Media, O’Grady added that if pay raises are not given across the entire economy, “we will just keep lurching from crisis to crisis.”
“This cost-of-living emergency has not come out of the blue. It is the result of more than a decade of standstill wages.”
The conservative party in England, O’Grady added, is one of the biggest problems as it is the “party of pay cuts.” Instead of rewarding workers with the wages they deserve, conservatives want to cheapskate them, rewarding already overpaid executives instead.
Boris Johnson is also part of the problem, O’Grady contends, as he has “cynically abandoned his commitment to a high-wage economy.”
“He and other ministers are treating workers like Oliver Twist by telling them not to dare ask for a decent pay rise,” she further said. “The last thing we need right now is for wages to be held down. We cannot be a country where nurses have to use food banks to get by.”
While increasing wages would certainly incentivize more working-age people to work, it does not address the root cause of the problem which is central banking. Fiat currency is inherently fraudulent and is a constant driver of inflation, especially when unbridled greed is involved.
Private banking empires like the Federal Reserve have been trying to print their way out of the problem they created in the first place, blasting cash into Wall Street while diluting and siphoning value from everyone’s dollars.
The same situation is endemic in the United Kingdom, which like most of the world is driven and controlled by the same central banking cartels. Unless these cartels are cut off at the knees somehow, there will never be any way out of the current slavery, which certainly will not be solved by installing new dictators as Antifa is demanding.
